2. Try making a postcard

It's really quick and easy so why not have a play and create a card? Just choose or upload an image, write the message and address and voila - one personal postcard is ready for you to send via mail, email or Twitter.

3. Create your address books

You don't have to worry about leaving your address book at home... or worse, losing it... if you have a Carderoo address book - phew! You can add them one at a time, have us send people an email (so they can do it for you) or upload them all at once using our quick and easy feature. Create an address book now.

4. Learn how to upload photos

Getting the photos from your camera or mobile phone to Carderoo can be done many ways. Just pick the one that you are most comfortable with:

1. USB cable - the same one that attachs other devices should work fine.
2. The SD (Secure Digital) slot - found in many computers these days.
3. USB Card Reader - really useful and fairly cheap to buy.
4. Wireless transfer - using Bluetooth on each device to transmit the image.
5. Multimedia message (MMS) - send a photo to your email & upload (mobile phone only).

5. Create your own handwriting font

Add a lovely personal touch to your custom postcards by using your real handwriting! It's really quick and easy to design your own font by using the templates provided - and you can also then use the font in any word-processing programme too. It's yours for life and only costs $9.95 US (about £6 GBP).

1. Print off the A4 template.
2. Write the alphabet letters within the template grid.
3. Scan the template and upload to the website.
4. Create your font. Play around and if you like the font, purchase it.
5. Upload your font to the My Font section in My Carderoo.
